Plan now to enter Snake Saturday Parade & Festival March 10, 2012! We encourage Parade entries to have live or amplified music. Deadline to enter the parade is February 24, 2012! The criteria for the divisions judged is as follows:
1) Theme: The float or unit must use the annual theme.
2) Creativity & Orginality: Unit will show imagination and inventive ideas to express the annual theme. Artistic use of color & unit lay out will be stronging considered.
3) Design & Construction: Construction must be built and decoated by participants. No commercial-built floats will be considered. Safety of unit will be a must for participants as well as bystanders. Unit can not throw any object to the crowd.
4) Sound: Live sound: consists of a single person or group of musicians playing instruments. Score will start at 6 or more. Canned music: consists of pre-recorded music amplified. Singing of chanting also will be counted.
5) Presentation: Has all of the criteria been incorporated to enhance the theme. Participants are exciting and enticing crowd enthusiasm.
