Important Dates
Senior Class Meeting: October 23rd--During your lunch in the theater. If you have work study--please make arrangements with your employer to be able to attend.

They are paid ONLINE through SCHOLASTIC IMAGES, our BALFOUR representative. Please take care of this before the end of October. You will have more things to pay for later, so we schedule senior dues at this time so that you can budget your money with AP exams, application fees for college, holiday seasons, seasonal trips, etc. Therefore, please pay your dues BEFORE OCTOBER 31st, 2009. They are paid ONLINE.
Senior dues pay for the following: your cap and gown (you get to keep it), graduation at the arena, senior picnic, senior breakfast, senior karaoke, senior letters, senior ice, and senior gift. To pay your senior dues, go to Scholastic Images and complete their form and submit your credit card information. Be sure you enter your correct height and weight so that your gown will fit properly.
*****Just to clarify--Junior Dues are different than Senior Dues. Junior Dues pay for PROM. You must have paid Junior Dues and purchase PROM tickets in order to attend prom. If you have further questions regarding PROM, you can see Mr. Stewart or check out the Junior Class website www.nghsjuniors.com
Graduation-- A confirmed graduation date is not released for any GCPS school until after the March 18, 2010 school board meeting. The 2010 NGHS tentative graduation date is Friday, May 28th at 7:00 p.m. at the Gwinnett Arena.

Senior pictures information--North Gwinnett's official photographer is Photographic Arts. In order to be in the yearbook, each senior must have his/her picture taken at the Photographic Arts studio. If a senior chooses to go to another studio for Senior Pictures, he/she still needs to go to the Photographic Arts studio and sit for a formal for a picture for the yearbook. North Gwinnett's week for pictures is June 22-26. Seniors should call 678-393-1719 for an appointment or go online to book an appointment at www.schoolpix.biz
To order a yearbook, go to www.NGHSyearbook.com This website will be active on July 1, 2009 for yearbook orders. Yearbooks are $75.00 until February. From February- March 31, yearbooks will be $85.00.

Joint Enrollment Students/Post Secondary Option Students
As joint enrollment students/pso students, you are already demonstrating that you are handling college level responsibility tasks. Please continue to exhibit this type of behavior by taking charge of your responsibilities and being aware of deadlines for her high school senior year . Be sure to check the important deadlines and always check in with your guidance counselor, Mrs. Youmans, or Mrs. Nelson (122). We are all here to assist you. |
