The Northern District is organized through the Virginia State 4-H Horse Program and governed by the Northern District 4-H Horse Council which meets every other month. See the District Council page to find out more information about the Council and meeting dates.

We are in need of updated information of all the horse project clubs in our new Northern District. If your club has a website that we can add to the county list below please email Sandy Arnold (arnoldwebcreations@yahoo.com) with your information. Please also be sure to sign up for the Yahoo Group below which is forum-type communication service -- a great way to ask questions, share ideas, get feedback, and hear about activities amongst our district clubs.

We also have a NDHC listserve generated by Carrie Swanson. If you'd like to be added to our email list, please click on the following link: https://survey.vt.edu/survey/entry.jsp?id=1233947398519. This listserve sends announcements pertaining to the Northern District news.

 

This website serves the purpose of keeping the Northern District Virginia 4-H Horse program leaders and 4-Hers informed on current 4-H horse activities, clinics, shows and contests, and is also a resource for contacts and other pertinent District information.
