April 2009 - Geoff has been lifted by Cas crane onto Bideford Harbours boat storage area at POLLARDS WHARF for wet area painting checking etc. for a month. Prior to his 'Journey South' - his aim is to get to Spain while still able. He has been once before, when a skipper took him and another on an adventurous voyage to Northern Spain during the 90's late in the season across BISCAY. They returned via Ireland and successfully landing at Crow Point where an enforced stay for the winter due to getting neaped led to a sand blasting of the masts! The catamaran was dug out by the late Terry Grace's digger which stayed at Crow Point at the time.
Geoff is looking for an experienced skipper to take him to Northern Spain. Please email capnrog@aol.com should you be willing.
PS Any boating news please send to capnrog@aol.com with pictures if available.
