JOSH ECKERT is in his final year of graduate school at the University of Notre Dame and will earn a Master of Architectural Design and Urbanism degree in the spring of 2009. Originally from Huntington, Indiana, he received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2003. After graduation, he worked for over four years at Alberto & Associates, an architecture and planning firm in New Jersey specializing in traditional architecture and urbanism. His architectural experience consists of a wide range of duties that encompass the full spectrum of the profession. He has recently completed his architectural registration exams and will seek full licensure in the State of New Jersey. In addition to his architectural experience, he also has a substantial amount of experience in large-scale and small-scale urban design projects. He has served on both the public and private sides of development projects, ranging from greenfield development, urban infill and redevelopment projects, as well as town center projects with a particular focus on Traditional Neighborhood Development and New Urbanist planning. He has a wide range of knowledge of specific residential building types and the economic issues that confront commercial projects. |
