DAN DEGREVE

DANIEL DEGREVE grew up in the small town of Crestline, Ohio, and developed an early awareness of the value of the traditional, pre-sprawl urban environment that once defined his home community, but was severely compromised in the 1970's during an automobile-driven attempt for renewal.  Dan earned his professional Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2002, and found employment with architectural practices in Cleveland and Pittsburgh.  While living and working in these post-industrial cities, he gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of the vital role that cohesive neighborhoods can play in sustaining the health and vibrancy of urban life as a whole.  In the fall of 2007, Dan entered graduate study at the University of Notre Dame in order to pursue the Master of Architectural Design & Urbanism degree with a concentration in Urbanism.
