Market gardener @ the allotments mid-day 5th March

This event is now confirmed: Jim Applin (market gardener) who does the 'hotch potch' box scheme, will be visiting the allotments on the 5th March at approximately mid-day. To talk about seasonal jobs/activities on the allotment and also to walk around the allotments.

Tree Plantathon - 11th+12th March

Bishop's Cleeve Parish Council are organising a tree plantathon, to take place around the 11th and 12th March. Volunteers are needed for this community event. Check out the poster for futher details.

Allotment talk + Farmers Market calendar

The Farmer Market calendar for 2011 is available from the Nortenham Allotment Association web-site.

The allotment association has arranged for a market gardener to visit the allotments on 5th March, 2011 to talk cultivation and to advise on growing fruit and veg.

Bishop's Cleeve Tithe Barn Farmers and Craft Market start 18th July

This new venture at the Tithe Barn in Bishop's Cleeve starts on the 18th July and will be held on subsequent 3rd Sundays of the month until December 2010. Full details can be viewed on the Nortenham Allotments document page.

A newsletter is available for viewing or download with details of the recent committee meeting. There is also news about confirmed plans for the provision of improved water supply across the site.

CLEEVELANDS development exhibition 14th & 15th May 2010

Welbeck Strategic Land Limited are holding an exhibition for a proposed development to the North West of Bishop's Cleeve.

The exhibition is planned to take place at the Bishop's Cleeve Parish Office in Church Road, details below:

Friday 14th May; 12.30pm to 2pm

Friday 14th May; 2pm to 8.30pm

Saturday 15th May; 10am to 4pm

Nortenham Allotment Association voted as allotment representatives

At the annual meeting of the Bishop's Cleeve Parish Council and allotment holders, it was voted by the attendees that the Allotment Association becomes the representative group for the allotment community to the Parish Council.

Seed swap - 6th March 2010
