Faced with a similar although slightly worse scenario here in the woods of Camp Meeker, CA; and
with Verizon and a 120' tower, The community pulled together and had a good showing at the meetings. It was exhausting but worth it.
They also offered to find Verizon an alternative site further from homes which seemed to scare the contractor who was working with Verizon.
They finally withdrew the contract.
