Wordplay A Festival of New Works March 24-27, 2010 Lerner Black Box Theater Wordplay will be the first festival dedicated to new and original performance pieces created and performed by Columbia students. The centerpiece of the festival will be four new hour-long theatrical pieces commissioned and workshopped by NOMADS. These will be accompanied by performances from individuals and student groups dedicated to creating new work as well as post-show galas, complete with food and art, to encourage discussion and build community. Because the central goals of this festival are to showcase the talent of the Columbia student body and to expose people to new art, all aspects of it will be completely free. |
