Our Story:
Jimmy and I met in the spring of 2002.  I was a cashier at a grocery store near his apartment, and he was a regular customer.  After seeing each other a few times, Jimmy finally spoke to me.  We have been inseperable ever since.  Below are pictures from our first summer together:  first in Pensacola Beach and then at Audubon Zoo in New Orleans.

Jimmy and I have dated now for over five years and lived together for nearly as long.  Our relationship has survived the stress of buying and renovating a home, Hurricane Katrina, homelessness, and then the subsequent renovation of said home again!  I cannot wait to marry him and spend our lives builing a family together. (Pics below are more recent of us:  In Jackson Square; Ready for a Saints game!; and in Pensacola again)

 Then, clockwise:  snorkeling on Oahu in Hawaii; The Piazza de Italia in New Orleans;
Jax Square again; and a drunk Mardi Gras night in the Quarter!

 Home Life

This is our home.  It has been a journey (for lack of a better word) renovating it from slab to roof.  It may not look like much from outside, but it is our castle inside.  No you can't see.  We don't have furniture yet.  :)  Sometimes I say I hate New Orleans, but for now I can't imagine living anywhere else.

(after a long day, with a cheesy sign someone gave us)

We live here with our two cats, Kitty and Little Bit.  We suck at names.  I swear we will do better when we have kids.  Little Bit figures he can learn to cook by hangin out in the cookbook shelf.  Kitty enjoys PS2, although I'm not sure how he plays... he has no eyes.  :p

They love each other tho.
