and Other Myths
Have you heard this one?
| Do Jews face different issues in confronting addiction? Does being Jewish raise questions for participating in recovery programs? Is the Jewish community in denial about a serious problem in our midst? What Can We Do?I'm writing a book to help Jewish addicts and their loved ones accept addiction and recovery within the context of Jewish culture and tradition. The working title is No Jewish Addicts... and Other Myths. YOU CAN HELPYou can help by completing the short survey at the link below. Then, indicate whether you would be interested in contributing more: your "story" or your experiences, anecdotes, opinions, or humor. (click here) Survey for NO JEWISH ADDICTS Your anonymity will be protected at all times. The survey software does not automatically capture the e-mail address of the respondent. Therefore, I've included an optional space for you to provide a first name, e-mail address, and/or phone number so that I can contact you in the future if you do want to contribute further. I envision a book that will appeal to a wide audience, not just those who have already identified themselves or their loved ones as addicts. It will probably be light in tone and include a good bit of humor. I am the author or co-author of 13 non-fiction books, all published by major houses. I know this book can find a publisher and good distribution. |
