Symptoms and Treatments
The victim may be overdosed because of an alcohol or a drug. The victim may need prompt emergency treatment. If the victim is conscious, tell him to seek medical aid but should be aware that he has the right to refuse treatment and cannot be forced to go to a doctor or hospital. A person overdosed may feel loss of coordination, vomiting and loss of consciousness. If these happen, any victim that is unconscious turn him onto his side at once to clean and open his airway. If he is conscious, keep a safe distance in case he becomes violent. Suggest him to lie down. Note any changes is his behavior and level of consciousness. Be ready to turn the victim on his side if there is any deterioration in his condition. Call for an ambulance as soon as possible. Do not leave the victim until the ambulance arrives.
