Food Pantry

How can I serve?
Have you ever known what it means to be hungry? Have you ever wondered where your family's next meal would come from? We have people right here in our community that know these realities all too well. Jesus told us that whenever we serve "the least of these" we are serving Him. WRCC has a great opportunity for you to be a part of this amazing mission of God. Below are several opportunities to get involved in this ministry. You can make a difference as you help fill people up with food and God's love!

NEW:Meijer Donation Match Program
Meijer in Noblesville has selected the White River Food Pantry as the recipient of their "Simply Give" program to fight local hunger. Keep your eyes open for the next opportunity to donate through this wonderful vehicle.  Anyone may purchase $10 Simply Give cards located at displays within the store, at the checkout stations, and at their gas station. All proceeds go directly to the White River Food Pantry. Please help fight hunger in Hamilton County by taking advantage of this incredibly generous donation from Meijer.

Hello T105!

This is a great opportunity for the boys to serve on an on-going basis.  They'll learn first hand about recurring needs in Hamilton County.  They put a good face on for Scouting. The other volunteers are very appreciative of our presence there AND THERE IS NEED FOR US THERE!

ITthe food pantry is actually located in the white square building S of WRCC.  Park in the parking lot and enter near the S end of the building (there are signs).

Show up and keep track of your hours.  Report them to an adult leader the next Troop meeting!  If it is your first time volunteering, let me know (allofuslibbys@gmail.com) and I will be there to show you the ropes.
