Welcome to the New Mexico Soccer Officials Association web site.

NMSOA was created to serve the high school soccer referee working matches anywhere in New Mexico. If you're registered with the NMAA to officiate soccer or to administrate the process, this is your web site.

The Short Term
The short term goal is to invite all the group leaders, assignors, interpreters and of course, the referees, to join us here.  Those in leadership roles will be "collaborators" of the site, which means they'll be able to post announcements and make other changes to what you see here.  Referees will be able to post comments/questions in response to announcements. 

We have an area set up for links to Google Maps to assist new referees and referees traveling outside of their home regions in finding soccer fields.  I'm asking for everyone's assistance in providing me with more field locations.  We'll keep them organized by region for easy reference.


The Long Term
Google Sites are relatively new, so they don't yet contain utilities such as integrated email broadcasts, forums, blogs or databases to assist with group membership stuff, so the site is a bit limited in what we can offer.  But I'm hoping this is a positive start to bringing the referees across the state together.  As time goes on, we hope to make the site a bit more sophisticated, and we hope to offer referees some valuable benefits.  Stay tuned.
