Parents, Guardians and Grandparents
We are saving aluminum cans to be recycled. The classroom with the most aluminum weight each month will receive a reward. For example, a pizza party or ice cream!
We are also saving empty ink cartridges and old cell phones to be recycled. The money earned will benefit the whole student body. Funding Factory is the name of the company we use.
New this year, we are also collecting digital cameras, iPods and other mp3 players, laptops and GPS devices.
Box Tops for Education is also a program we are participating in. If you will cut them off of your grocery items (not just boxes, but also cans and bags) and send them to school. Their symbol is usually red and yellow and clearly states Box Tops for Education. The money received for them is used to pay for headphones in the computer lab. Thanks goes to Mrs. Judy for sending them in.
