The NMCI Sub Aqua Club was founded in 2005 by students and staff of the National Maritime College of Ireland. It is affiliated with CFT (The Irish Underwater Council) and CMAS (World Governing Body). It is open to students and staff of CIT, the NMCI, Cork School of Music and all other CIT colleges. State of the art training facilities, including a 5m survival pool, allows the club to provide its members the opportunity to learn how to dive in a controlled safe environment.
