What is Bluetooth®?                                                                                            

 

Bluetooth® is a technical standard and specification for speedy and simple wireless connections between digital devices, using short range radio links.

 

     What platform does the system run on?                                                           

 

The system runs on Windows 2000 SP4 or higher, Windows XP SP2 or higher, Windows Vista.

 

     What kind of files can I send?                                                                             

 

Bluetooth®Interface™ supports any type of file, depending on the mobile phone.

 

     What are the hardware requirements?                                                              

 

IBM® PC Pentium 133 or higher or compatible system  Available USB2.0 port (up to 480 Mbps)  Windows® 2000 and Windows® XP, Windows® Vista

 

     What type of mobile phone is required to work with the software?                  

 

The main criteria is that the mobile phone must have Bluetooth®, whether its 2G, 2,5G or 3G.

 

     Do you need to have a JAVA enabled phone?                                                 

 

No. Unless you want to send personalized games or customized JAVA applications, you would require JAVA on your customers' mobile phones.

 

     What is the range of the Bluetooth®?                                                                

 

200m. The Dongle is provided by Bluetooth®Interface™.

 

     Can i access the software remotly?                                                                        

 

Yes, using any network functions (LAN, DSL, ISDN, Bluetooth, Wireless LAN). Access it from your PC, laptop, PDA and even your mobile phone.

 

     How can I avoid some customers from receiving certain messages?         

  

Bluetooth Interface offers you the possbility to create a "BlackList" to exclude any mobile phone or user from receiving certain messages e.g. staff.

 

     What is the maximum file size I can send or receive?                                    

 

To receive, it all depends on the mobile phone and its storage capacity. To send, we recommend that you limit the file size to 64Kb to ensure quick delivery.

 

     Is there a limit to the number of messages I can send?                                 

 

No. However, we advise not to overload your customers with messages.

 

     If ther is no network coverage can i till send or receive the ads                             

 

Yes you can. As long as the Bluetooth® mobile phone is with range 200m, you can send and receive files.

 

     How many mobile phones can the software reach at the same time                         

 

Each Bluetooth®Interface™ (aerial) reaches 13 mobile phones at the same time.

 

     Do I need a license to broadcast the software?                                              

 

No. But you should always make sure of your local telecoms laws in case they require a special license before you order. You are the sole responsible if there is any legal action or prosecution in your country.

 

     Are all files suitable for all mobile phones?                                                     

 

Not all the files are suitable for mobile phones. It will depend on the manufacturer, the model and the year in which it was made. Please refer to your mobile phone manual.

 

     What happens if the recipient does not accept my file?                                

 

Our system is a PBS (Permission Based Service), therefore the customer always has the right to reject any files.

 

     is software SPAM FREE?                                                                                     

 

Yes. Because it is a PBS (Permission Based Service), therefore the customer always has the right to reject any files.

 

     Do i need to pay fees to the local mobile network?                                        

 

There are NO special fees or connections to the local telecoms network. The messages are sent via free Bluetooth® Technology, except when using the SMS Sender.

 

     Is it password protected?                                                                                    

 

Yes. You can set a password when you are connected to the internet to avoid misuse.
