  • Major: New Media Studies
  • Expected graduation: 2011
  • Your Profession: Digital Media Account Manager-  website copy, interactive marketing, social media and SEO.
  • Your Passion: live music, fiction novels, cooking, and social justice
  • Favorite TV character: Toss up between Anthony Bourdain from No Reservations and Andy from Weeds... or any Seinfeld character.
  • Question: How do I become proficient in html, css, php and other web languages to the point where I'm capable and confident enough to use them professionally?
  • What was the one thing you wanted to take away from this class? I wanted to become proficient in html, css and other web languages so that I can use them professionally. While it's going to take a lot more practice before I can build websites from scratch professionally, at least I've done one! I now feel like I can put html and css on my resume skills section without feeling like I'm stretching the truth, and that makes me feel like I'm much more marketable in my future career.
