Promoting Hispanic Nurses to Improve the Health of our Communities.

The National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN), New Jersey chapter, is committed to the recruitment and retention of Hispanics into the nursing profession.  We are a national non-profit organization made up of more than 30 chapters nationwide.  

The New Jersey chapter of NAHN is seeking nurses and nursing students to address the issues impacting healthcare of Hispanics at the local and state levels. 

As a member of the NJ Chapter you will:

  • Be provided with professional networking and leadership opportunities.
  • Be part of an important forum to analyze and evaluate the health care needs of the Hispanic community 
  • Assess the safety and quality of health care delivery services to the Hispanic community.
  • Work toward recruitment and retention of Hispanic students in nursing education programs.
  • Be eligible for scholarships!

Driving Directions To NJ Chapter Meeting

Community Outreach

We are looking for Community Agencies, e.g churches, who would like to host a health fair, focused on addressing common health disparities the Hispanic Community is facing. With the help of the American Diabetes Association, and American Heart Association, we could set up free workshops at any location.
