CONCEPT
2010 represent the inaugural season of an idea to provide local racing opportunities for the NJ-based Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat teams. Each NJ-based BCS Dragon Boat team will take a turn to host a dragon boat event. At this time we don't have any particular format. We do have a commitment from each crew to participant and to take a turn at hosting an event. Breast Cancer Survivor dragon boaters and their Supporters may participate.
There are now 5 NJ-based Women's Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat teams. Each team provides unique support to their members and we hope that this race series will expand the support to each of our state-wide sisters and their supporters!
- Lake Parsippany - Pathways Team SOS NJ (Pathways, The Connections in Summit)
- Atlantic City, Intercoastal - Vikings Dragon Boat Club (Gilda Club, Atlantic City)
- Camden, Cooper River - River Sisters (Cooper Hospital, Camden)
- Princeton, Mercer Lake - Machestic Dragons (Breast Cancer Resource Center, YWCA, Princeton)

- Tentative schedule:
- 10AM-10:30AM - waivers, registrations, intros
- 10:30AM - 1PM = races
- 1PM = lunch (provided by host team)
- 1PM-2PM = land activities

pink elephant exchange - copied from GoPink!DC's 2010 event, we will give everyone a turn to pick from a bag of wrapped pink elephants from participants. Much like your holiday grab bag.
