Info on Joining
    We welcome anyone interested in checking out this cool fast growing team activity. We have several teams to fulfill the needs and desires of recreational to the committed dragonboaters. Our members come from Northern, Central and Southern NJ, and even NYC and PA. Experience NOT required...just the desire to enjoy a cool activity with others - FUN loves company!     To become a member:
    • Adults - Complete our NJDBC membership form and waiver and turn in with fee to one of the captains
    • Jrs (under 18 yrs) Complete our NJDBC membership forms w/Parental Permission Slips and turn in at 1st practice
    • Want to paddle but not sure if you want to be a member? Then pay $5/practice until you decide. We apply these practice fees toward your membership fee if you join.
    • Want to be a part of the team, but you have no desire to paddle or race with us? Then for $25 you can become an honorary team member.

    NJDBC Member Benefits:
    • Membership into the most active dragon boat clubs in NJ - NJDBC benefits

    Non-Members welcome to participate in team activities:
    • Pays a nominal non-member fee to be a "member for a day" in our activities. Includes field trips, practices and other member priviledges of the day. (Even the right to be abused by captains!).
    • Depending on the activity the non-member day fee ranges from $5-20 per day or per activity.
    • Past Non-member participants included members of Boston Paddlers; NYC: Con-Ed, J.P. Morgan Chase, Metro Athletic Dragons, Sting Rays, Wall Street Lions; Philadelphia: Hope Afloat, Philadelphia Women's Breast Survivors, Philadelphia Men's Dragon Boat Team, Philadelphia Women's Dragon Boat Team, Schulykill Dragons, Tsunami Dragons; Rhode Island Dragon Boaters; Toronto: Dewey Decimators, Shaolin Monks, Stratford Women, Titanics; Montreal: David Payne and Renegades! Phew! ...now that's a lot of friends!
