Post Code-1: Probationary Officers [JMGS-I]: a) Qualification: - Graduation with 60% marks [SC/ST/PWD candidates – Graduation with 55% marks]. AND - Should have valid IBPS Score Card obtained in Common Written Examination [CWE] for Probationary Officers [POs] / Management Trainees [MTs] 2011-12 with the following scores;
Candidate should indicate the percentage obtained in Graduation calculated to the nearest two decimals in the online application. Where CGPA / OGPA is awarded, the same should be converted in to percentage and indicate the same in online application, besides indicating the CGPA / OGPA in the on-line application. NOTE: All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a recognized University / Institution and the result should have been declared on or before 01.07.2011. The percentage marks in Graduation shall be arrived at by dividing the marks obtained by the candidates in all the subjects in all semesters / years, by aggregate maximum marks in all the subjects irrespective of honours / optional / additional optional subjects, if any. This will be applicable for those universities also where class / grade is decided on the basis of honours marks only. The fraction of percentage so arrived will be ignored i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%. COMPUTER LITERACY: Operating & working knowledge in computer systems shall be an essential qualification, which a candidate must either possess or acquire within 6 months from the date of joining the Bank. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1) NATIONALITY/ CITIZENSHIP: A candidate must be either i) a Citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii) subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) as above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/ interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the Government of India has issued the necessary eligibility certificate to him 2) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : Graduate with minimum 60% marks in AGGREGATE from UGC recognized University.
Note:- 1. The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects in all semester/year(s) by aggregate maximum marks in all the subjects irrespective of honours / optional / additional optional subject, if any. This will be applicable for those Universities also where Rank / Class / Grade is decided on basis of Honours marks only. 2. Candidates belonging to the Reserved Category (SC / ST / OBC / PWD), filling in vacancies reserved for the relevant category, will be entitled to a relaxation of 5% Marks in relation to that stipulated for General Category Candidates. Candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC / PWD categories filling in “unreserved” vacancies will not be entitled to the above referred relaxation. 3. The percentage of marks in fraction will not be rounded up on higher side (i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%).
3) IBPS SCOREREQUIREMENT: Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS) : Minimum 130 – For General Category Minimum 117 – For Reserved Category (i.e SC/ST/OBC/PWD) STRUCTURE OF INTERVIEW :
Interview Marks : Maximum marks for interview will be 100. Minimum qualifying marks in interview are 50% for General Category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category. Selection Procedure :
Depending on the number of vacancies, only those candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks stipulated for Common Written Examination (C.W.E) conducted by IBPS (i.e subject wise Objective Test plus Descriptive Test), have the minimum IBPS TWS score specified aboveand rank sufficiently high in the order of merit shall be called for a Personal interview in the ratio of 1:3. The candidates should have valid score card issued by IBPS. Mere pass in the Common Written Examinationshall not vest any right in a candidate for being called for Personal Interview.
Merit list of the candidates based on the marks obtained by them in Common Written Test [i.e. 250 Marks (Objective Test & Descriptive Test)] and Personal Interview of 100 Marks will be prepared in descending order on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained, under the respective SC / ST / OBC / GEN Category. The final selection will be made on the basis of this merit list.
Note: In case of similar marks to two or more candidates the merit order of such group of candidates will be as per their aggregate written test marks and further as per their date of birth (i.e. more senior in age will be placed first before less senior in age). Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories filling in “unreserved” vacancies will not be entitled for relaxation available to them in their respective category.
