Natsu Matsuri!
It's time for the society's annual Natsu Matsuri! This years will take place on the 11th May from 10.30AM until 4PM and will include many new games and events as well as returning favorites! Once again, Natsu Matsuri will take place at the University Chaplaincy.

Film Festival!
I'm happy to announce the first event of this term - our film festival!
As shwon in the poster above, this will be taking place on Friday 10th February at 6.30PM going on until 10PM and will cost £1 for members and £2 for non-members. The event takes place in Room 302 of MacRobert Building.

The films we're showing are Arrietty and Paprika, rated U and 15 respectively. We hope you can all make it and enjoy the films with us.
Halloween Party!
Hello Everyone!

We're having a Halloween Party on the 27th October at Konnichi Bar from 7.30PM to 11PM! Included in this event are:

- A Japan related quiz

- Games

- Snacks

- Prizes

- A Cosplay Competition

- And more!

There are also drink promos for both beers and spirits so come along and have a good time!

For this exciting event, it will only cost you £5 if you're not a member and £4 if you are. You can buy tickets at the hub entrance on Thursday (20th October) or at any of our beginner lessons or Intermediate sessions before the event. Post Meet and Greet Reception!
Hello Everyone!

After the Meet and Greet this Wednesday afternoon (28th, between 3-4) we will be heading to the Konnichi Bar for snacks and stuff so we can get to know each other better. Please e-mail us if you wish to attend this so we know numbers.

Meet and Greet!
Konnichi wa! Hello everyone!

Welcome to all our new members and welcome back to all the current ones.

As mentioned at the societies fayre we are having a meet and greet next week. This will take place on Wednesday 28th September 3-4 in Taylor A21. Here we hope to show you our plan for the year as well as give you a bit of a taster for the Japanese lessons.

As you may have noticed, the Beginner Japanese lessons now have a time and a place too! They will take place every Wednesday afternoon 3-4 in MacRobert 303 from the 5th October to the 14th December. The Intermediate classes should have a time and place set in stone over the next week too.

If you are unable to make the meet and greet, please just send us an e-mail and I can send you the information you may have missed. As well as this, all lessons, including the taster from the meet and greet will be uploaded to the lesson summary page.

Finally, if you missed us at the Fresher's Fayre, don't worry, you can still become a member of the society, just come to the meet and greet, e-mail us or turn up to one of our events or lessons and we can sort something out for you.

We look forward to meeting you all at the meet and greet session, and we hope you enjoy your year with us!
