I am
currently working in Finland at VTT R&D centre as a Senior
Scientist and a Project Leader with the following responsibilities:
- Conduct research in range of SW Eng and Business issues (mainly at
crossroads of business, engineering, and social science), that make
impact on industry, and also research community
- Initiate large scale EU and pan-EU (ITEA2, Artemis) projects (take them from conception to success)
- Provide consultation to MNCs and SMEs on technology and SW directions.
Recently, I have been actively spearheading and advising agile-lean
adoption and transformation in companies
- Develop
research-led products (with the help of technical assistants) that hold
merits of commercialization and IPR for VTT
- Strengthen
global networking from VTT (have initiated very important links in
Europe, USA (U of Berkeley, and MIT) and Asia
- Help VTT in carving up business directions/strategies for future opportunities
- Contribute to national SW research strategy (industry and government agencies)
