The International Glaciological Society - Nordic Branch Meeting 2010 will be held at the Geocenter Denmark from October 28 to 30. The meeting provides an informal venue for Nordic-based glaciologists and students in glaciology to present their latest results and projects. The meeting aims to stimulate discussion and networking among the participants. Presentations are welcome on all aspects of ice and snow research. A book of abstracts will be published in the GEUS report series before the meeting.

 

There is no registration fee. However, on Friday October 29 at 19:00 dinner is arranged at restaurant Riz Raz in walking distance of the Geocentre. The price for the dinner is 200 dkr and includes a vegetarian buffet, roast of beef and a limited quantity of wine. If you want to participate in the fun please send an email to (siba at geus.dk) with the subject ‘NIGS 2010 dinner’ before October 24. We will need you to pay the 200 dkr in cash at the meeting on the 28 or 29.
