Added 2/8/09: A funny story about this song - My sister knew a daffy guy named Carl, and he did enjoy giving big hugs, especially to her. This guy had a big crush on her, even though he was about six years too old for her. His main myspace picture showed him gnawing on a gargantuan hamburger. The picture became somewhat of an inside joke between my sister and I for a while, until I finally wrote a song about it.
