STIMULEE

R&D project STIMULEE
An ambitious and useful project in progress
2009-2010 | Team project | Professional context

As an interaction designer, I took part in STIMULEE project when I was working for memOree (SOVAME company). STIMULEE is a project aiming to build a web application allowing therapeutists to create multimedia exercises for stimulating  elderly people and people suffering from Alzheimer's disease. These cognitive stimulation exercises can provide elderly people well-being and help them to stay in touch with therapeutists as well as with their relatives (family, friends...) and retirement homes' staff. This project was selected within the frame of the national call for projects "WEB 2.0"  launched by the french government in 2009.

My participation in that (big) project  :
  • Took part in one ethnographic in-situ observation session of end users at Laval Hospital
  • Took part in the creation of users scenario
  • Took part in the design of the presentation that was showed to the french minister Nathalie KOSCIUSKO-MORIZET in Paris (more information)
  • Graphic improvements of the interfaces
  • Collected media data to feed the prototype
