Dr. Nicolas M. Dahan is an Assistant Professor of Management with the College of Management of Long Island University - CW Post campus, in Brooksville, NY.
Prior to his current position, he was a faculty member with the Anisfield School of Business, at Ramapo College of New Jersey for three years, and at Marne-la-Vallée State University (a French State university, East of Paris) for the previous six years.  He has extensive teaching experience with American schools, including George Washington University, Tulane University, Baruch College-CUNY, as well as top French business schools (ESSEC, ESCP Europe, Sciences Po...) and executive education. He has also been a guest speaker on several US programs (including Wharton-Estée Lauder Institute, Babson College, Ball State University). During his doctoral studies, he was a lecturer in strategic management and international business at University College Dublin (Ireland) for two years.

His research interests focus mainly on the area of non-market strategies (in particular, international corporate lobbying as well as corporate social responsibility). His scholarly work has appeared in international refereed outlets such as Long Range Planning, Business & Society, Journal of Business Ethics, Human Relations, International Studies of Management and Organization, Journal of Public Affairs, as well as the Best Paper Proceedings of the Academy of Management.  He has also presented papers in many international and French conferences, and has organized a number of international research conferences pertaining to corporate political strategies and interest groups, in Paris (France) as well as Amsterdam (Netherlands).

He has work experience with several French firms, and has acted occasionally as a consultant on public affairs/lobbying at the European Union level, for multinational enterprises as well as trade associations.

He holds a PhD in Business Administration (with a focus on Strategic Management and International Business) from CNAM, a State University founded in 1794; a graduate degree from Sciences Po, and a BA in Economics from Sorbonne University (all located in Paris, France).
