I am the Chair and a Professor in the Department of History at Loyola Marymount University. I am also the President and a Charter Member of Loyola Marymount University's chapter of Phi Beta Kappa (Omega of California).
My research & teaching interests include Indigenous history, environmental history, the history of the North American West, and 20th Century United States history.
