Happy New Year!
We wish you and your families the healthiest and happiest New Year ever!

The next FUN fund-raising event will be a Variety Show in the spring.  It's our way of celebrating the end of a long winter! Hopefully, winter will be over in April!!

In 2013 we will be celebrating our 50th anniversary!
We are planning a community celebration to mark this grand event and would love to have many former and current campers, counselors, trustees and friends together to celebrate the joys that the camps have brought into our lives.
Please come into Camden National Bank on Main Street in Blue Hill, just across the street from the Blue Hill Public Library, and see our camp display during the month of January. We have camp pictures on display from last summer, as well as our 2011 Fall Newsletter, Nichols Day Camps' Fact Sheets, and copies of the 2011 camper application. (2012 applications come out May first.)
We have a sign up sheet at the display for you to leave your contact information.
Spread the word to friends and family!
Please let us know if you would like to be involved in the planning.
Think how much fun it will be to see old friends and make new memories!!
Together on Walker Pond, once again!

If you moved away from the area, this is a good time to plan for a vacation trip back home!  We would love to show off the camp sites!
Since 2006 we have built a new recreation hall (complete with flush toilets!), new changing rooms on the shore with storage for paddles, oars, life jackets and related waterfront equipment, and we have a new office on site!
There are also beautiful perennial gardens and potable water!!
We have a new, built up Nichols field that is smooth with healthy green grass.
 We have an exceptional play ground set from Cedar Works for the Scamp Campers.
This summer there will be a new shelter for the Adventure campers and a new Theater platform for the Theater activities.
 The camp sites get better and more attractive every summer!
Come and visit us!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In 2011 we completed our 48th summer of providing an exceptional outdoor recreational and educational experience for nearly 300 children!  We had only two days of rain during camp time!  What a summer!  Many thanks to our outstanding staff members who dedicated their summer to the fortunate children in our community!!!
How do you get to camp?
DIRECTIONS FROM BLUE HILL:
Take route 15 south, over scenic Caterpillar Hill, past Eggemoggin Country Store (on your left), continue on Route 15 south to stop sign, take a right to Herrick Road, right on Camp Lane, go straight ahead and you are there!
If you'd like to check out some camp photos, click on the name of the camp. There is a glitch in the Camp Photos headline, but you'll see many fun photos under each camp's name.  The 2011 photos have not been put on, yet! They will make it eventually!
Here is what our schedule was for the summer of 2011. The dates will be similar for 2012, just off by a day.
Camp began for our campers on June 27th and we ended August 19th.
Session One: June 27 to July 8
Session Two: July 11 to July 29
Session Three: August 1 to August 19.
PLEASE LOOK TO YOUR LEFT, UNDER HOME, AND CLICK ON WHAT YOU NEED!
FILES will take you to camper applications and medical forms.  It will also take you to our recent newsletters and our events calendar.
