Hi, my name is Nick. I am a student at the College of New Jersey and am currently taking Spanish to fill a requirement. Although I wouldn't be taking a language if I didn't need to, I do think there are positives in learning Spanish. It is a growing language in the US, and we are located near many Spanish speaking countries. I plan on being a teacher, and depending on the area in which I teach it could be useful to learn Spanish. Another thing is that I would like to study abroad, but as of now I don't know any languages besides English. So to be able to study abroad in more countries and have a better experience, I feel I should learn Spanish.
