Niall was born and brought up in Northern

Ireland.  He eventually became tired of the chilly

climate and the undercurrent of sectarianism and

decided to move to Scotland for a complete

change.

He has been making people laugh for ages but

finally got up on a stage in November 2004.  

After his first faltering steps at The Stand's Red

Raw nights he started performing around

Scotland.  

 He has entertained bewildered crowds from

Inverness to Dumfries; though he freely admits

that he gets a bit homesick when he strays too

far from the urban familiarity of the central belt. 

He finds farm animals and agricultural machinery

particularly intimidating.

In 2007 he will be

performing with Sian

Bevan in the Free Festival
