The Summer 2012 Speed and Agility Training Schedule is now available for download.

The North Hills Community Recreation Speed and Agility Training has been a helpful, beneficial, and fun program for more than seven years.  More than 650 student-athletes have participated in these exciting and effective training classes.   Many student-athletes are return participants year after year.

 

The program is designed to:

  • Increase speed development.
  • Increase the athlete's agility.
  • Increase quickness.
  • Master running form.
  • Increase the athlete's power development.
  • Decrease the risk of injury.  
  • Let the kids have fun.

 

A typical Speed and Agility Training session includes:

  1. Active Warm-up
  2. Form Running Drills
  3. Speed/Power  Development Drills
  4.  Quickness/Agility Drills
  5. Conditioning/Endurance
  6. Functional Training Skills
  7. Cool Down Stretch
