The Saco River Ramblers met at the Red Fox Restaurant in Jackson on April 15^th with the following attending:

John and Jean Baker; John & Phyllis Barnes; Bill & Judith Botsford; Jim & Betsy Bradt; Rita Carignan; Bill and Carol Manley; Roger and Carol Roberts; Ron Soucie; Dick & Linda Spofford; Greg & Kathy Thayer.

            Presiding was Vice President, Roger Roberts in the absence of vacationing, co-presidents, Bill and Paula O’Meara.

The donation of food will be given to the South Berwick Food Pantry along with a check for $30.    Roger and Judy Botsford showed the members the new banner which we have just had printed.  It tells the name of the chapter, location of the chapter as well as the chapter patch.  It is a durable material thus will be able to be used out-of-doors.

            Camping for the 2012 season was the biggest issue of the meeting.  Glen Ellis Campground in Glen NH – May 17-20;  Walnut Grove Campground in Alfred Maine – June 07-10; Shore Hills Campground in Boothbay, Maine – June 14-17;

Lake Forest RV Park in East Wakefield, NH – July 12-15; N. H. Samboree in North Haverhill NH – August 16-19; Maine Samboree in Fryeburg Maine – September 06-09; Papoose Pond Campground in North Waterford, Maine – September 20-23;  Danforth Bay Campground in Freedom, NH – October 11-14 with a Thanksgiving dinner to end the season.

            The next meeting of the Saco River Ramblers will be held on Saturday, May 19^th at the Glen Ellis Campground at 9:00 am.
