So now that the introductions are all over with, lets get in to the nitty gritty stuff (haha). I began writing my novel approximately 3 months ago. This would be great cause one can only imaginehow much i have written in 3 months... one would be mistaken. I have managed to write exactly 3 pages. That's not a whole lot if you are trying to write a novel. That's not really a whole lot of you are tring to write a short story.

Its just very tough

It is quite a task writing a novel because there is so much to think about and plan. Characters, setting, themes, structure, language, grammer, spelling (A BIG PROBLEM), names of characters, plot, flow and the list goes on. I decided to take a very dishevelled approach to my novel and thought process. I thought that i would just write as i felt the words. This has really turned out to be a double edged sword; firstly the words are good, a book however is not all about the words. There are many attributes that make a book, fluidity is one of the most essential in my opinion.I'm working on it. In the meantime I'll keep trying to find ways to make the process slightle less taxing.

However I must say that there is no simple way to write a novel, it is hard and it is meant to be this way. There are many "surefire" ways to try and many websites may claim to have the fulproof method, but there is no easy way. It takes blood and guts to be this good.

This is my blog about how exactly people think that a book should written.

I am currently in the process of writing, or trying to write my first novel. It is a whole lot more intense than I had initially thought. But the challenge is an extremely welcome one. If you are writing a novel or have some guiding tips in regard to this topic please feel free to drop me comment and tell me about your experiences.
