NGEC Workshop on Genome Engineering

The NGEC Workshop on Genome Engineering has a new website.

Please find it here:

Information on this website will not be updated.

This one-day workshop is designed to provide a forum for exposure to and discussion of genome engineering concepts, methods, and applications under study in both consortium and non-consortium laboratories. The NGEC is actively planning the fourth annual workshop to be held on Tuesday, November 8th, 2011.

Both Keynote speakers for our 2011 Workshop on Genome Engineering have been confirmed: it will be Dr. Carl June from the University of Pennsylvania and Dr. Nick Grishin from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Please check out more details here.

Stay tuned and check back for more info.

Our third annual Workshop on Genome Engineering was a great success. It was held on November 16th, 2010 at the UW Medicine - South Lake Union facility in Seattle, WA. 140 attendees over the entire day enjoyed two Keynote addresses by Dr. Bruce Torbett and Dr. Toni Cathomen. In addition, we had twelve short talks and 43 posters.
