On November 17th the Purdue All American Marching Band traveled from West Lafayette, Indiana to Jasper High School in Jasper, Indiana. The band played a concert in the gym of the high school and then stayed with host families from Jasper High School. The following day, Saturday November 18th, the Purdue marching band traveled to Bloomington, Indiana for the Old Oaken Bucket game against the Hoosiers of Indiana University.
This is am image of the entire Purdue band in the gym at Jasper. I took four separate pictures and put them together to make one.
Purdue band members awaiting instruction in the gym prior to the concert.
Brass players in the Purdue band. A line of mellophones on the right, trumpets to the left, and sousaphones in the back.
Part of the Purdue band playing in the Jasper High School gym.
This image is a little fuzzy because I used my cell phone camera to take pictures at the game. This is the Purdue band playing along side the IU band on the field at half time.
Another picture of the Purdue band playing at half time with the IU band.
This is a scene on the field after IU beat Purdue in the Old Oaken Bucket game. It was unfortunate for Purdue to lose, but it does not ruin their bowl game hopes.
