Welcome to the Historic Sogo Hotel. We are located in the Little Tokyo/Arts District of downtown Los Angeles, near First St. and Alameda. 

ROOMS: We offer bachelor rooms (room with own sink) in the style of communal hotels of the 1960s and 1970s. All rooms have original hardwood floors and are furnished with bed, dresser and built-in closet.

Our shared bathrooms and large common kitchen are professionally cleaned every day.

AMENITIES:WI-FI is free for all tenants. There is on-site laundry and easy to find street parking. There is also a dining area and large living room for small gatherings.

LOCATION: We are conveniently located a block away from the Little Tokyo Plaza. The neighborhood is very clean and safe with two Buddhist temples nearby, the Maryknoll Catholic Church as well as a sushi school. Many buses run along First St.

RATES and RULES: Monthly room rates are affordable, and require a one month security deposit. There is a nonrefundable $15 credit check/application. No smoking, drugs, or alcohol use allowed on the premises. Students, artists, and professionals all welcome.  Please call for current room rates.

DIRECTIONS FROM AIRPORT: Take shuttle to Green Line Station. Take Green Line East to Imperial. Transfer to Blue Line. Transfer to Red Line. Get off at Civic Center. Take bus on 1st street East. Stop at 700 E. First Street.
