Established in 1934, the Roxy served as the local movie house until 1978.
Presently, it houses the Newton Theatre Company and has been the site of numerous productions, including the Sound of Music, Annie Get Your Gun, and Oklahoma!

This will be a night of local entertainment in conjunction with
"Merry Main Street" in historical downtown Newton.
The admission to "Christmas at the Roxy" is canned food.
This project is sponsored by The Newton Theatre Company
to help stock the food pantry for needs throughout the community.

"Children's Production"
Early Spring
The Newton Theatre Company will present the children's production.
The auditions for this production will be announced in early January.
Last year's production of "Charolett's Web" involved many children
