Purpose: To assist the Tiverton Library Foundation in planning for a new library. The Foundation will commission a Fiscal Feasibility Study in preparation for a capital campaign for a new, resource efficient Library Building.

Purpose: Research and list state-of-the-art practices and technologies employed in the construction of energy efficient, low-impact (“green”) facilities and identify applications suitable and cost effective for Tiverton’s new library project. Next, devise a model of cost/benefit including life cycle costs as well as initial construction costs. Finally, discover funding sources supporting “green” initiatives and develop an RFP leading to the next phase. |
