Our Speaker is Kenneth J. Filarski, FIAA, AICP, LEED-AP, CFM FILARSKI/ARCHITECTURE. PLANNING. RESEARCH.

Mister Filarski is a master planner whose work centers on ecology and sustainability, a board member of Rhode Island Green Building Council*, and Chair of the UGBC Upper Northeast Region Task Force for LEED-Neighborhood Development. He will address specifically the impact of a green municipal building--the library--on the town going forward: as a model, as an economic piece in revitalizing an older  neighborhood, and as a funding magnet.
The RIGBC is the Ocean State's resource for information regarding green building.
