The Gladstones

On Saturday, January 23rd, our Newport El Family suffered a tragic loss. Parent, Greg Gladstone, lost his life in the waves off Big Newport. Greg was a devoted husband and father of two. He was known by many at our school because he loved to walk his daughter, Quinn, to Mrs. Mongkolkasetarin's kindergarten class.

Funeral services to honor Greg will take place at the American Legion, 215 East 15th Street, 92663, at 10am on Wednesday, February 3rd.

The Gladstone Family has obviously been deeply effected by this tragedy. If you are interested in helping, donations are being accepted by the School's First Credit Union in memory of Greg Gladstone. Any condolences may be received by the Newport El office and will be forwarded to Greg's widow Alex, daughter Quinn (6) and infant son Beckett (less than 1).
