Battery Clinic

http://newmiltonhoh.googlepages.com/hearingaid.gif/hearingaid-full;init:.jpgThe club provides a voluntary hearing aid battery replacement and re-tubing clinic at the New Milton Health Centre, Spencer Road (see map).

The clinic t
akes place on the second  and fourth Fridays of each month, 1.30-3.30 pm.

The clinic is staffed entirely by volunteers, and any interest from possible volunteers will be warmly welcomed.

Batteries and tubing can be replaced at this clinic, but for larger repairs, please see details of the NHS hearing aid repair clinics at Lymington and Hythe.

It has recently come to our attention that a new type of hearing aid has been issued on the NHS. These hearing aids have
a small flat piece of plastic that curls around the inside of the ear, rather than having an ear mould. Unfortunately, we are
unable to deal with this type of aid.
