This workshop is all about having fun with video art by creating short animations. Participants are introduced to the classic artform of stop-motion animation and shown how easy it is to do using digital technology and a little bit of creativity. Materials used may include coloured cardboard, Blu-Tac, Textas, paperclips and basically anything that's available. After a short introduction participants generally split into groups, gather materials and work on a 30 frame animation.  Check out the attachment for a short example. |
