Available at shows. Four copies with original art by Silas were auctioned off at this show. One was given away.
An experiment inspired in part by radioheads download "name your own price" release of in rainbows. This album featured original artwork by Silas. This E.P. was released at a show in October at Rico Coffee in LaVerne, CA. Audience members were encouraged to pay what they thought it was worth. Everyone paid at least $5.

Steve wrote all of the songs and arrangements and recordings were all done by the Pushstart Wagon collective of Ben Eggehorn, Eric Shouse, and Steven. Several special guests were also invited to record including Sean Hall, Jon Elliot, Elliot Chenault, and others.

Recorded and mixed by Sir Eric Paulsen in glorious 1/2 inch tape reel. First recording featuring Steve "Guy" Guiles. This album was indirectly responsible for EEG taking on all of West Covina's toughest rock bands at the weekly Battle of the Bands at the Boar's Head. They won. With the $100 that they took away they invited all the fans over the Donut Man and treated everyone to free donuts. Classic.
2004 The Silent Night/New Cool Now/indpendnetFriction Bailey Steve and Joy record their second full-length CD. Recorded and engineered by Steve and mixed and mastered by Ben Eggehorn. Steve played the majority of the instruments on the record (Casio, dulcimer, acoustic and electric guitars, bass, harmonica, etc. Several guest musicians included John R. Williamson (and orignal artwork for the album) Jesse Rebol, Mike Nichols, and Ben Eggehorn.
2004 Madonna Tribute Album "The Immaculate Deception/Independents Anonymous The Toast Steve engineered this version of Madonna's "Material Girl" in John Cash Studios for friends, The Toast (featuring Sean Hall and Joel Clelland). Ben Eggehorn provided additional engineering and the final mix.
2004 Band Aids and Broken Arms/indpendent Corporate Authority Steve records local punk rock kids with vs 1680 at John Cash.

2003 Beauty World E.P./My Trip Records Mini Mendez Steve produced, recorded, and mixed this E.P. for Mini Mendez (The Holidays, Reckless Ways, Glimmer Stars). He played all acoustic guitars, and did drums, bass and percussion. This recording session was a lot of fun and went very quickly. Recorded in January of 2003 at John Cash Studios.

Honeymooner 1340 Records asked Pushtart Wagon (who had temporarily renamed themselves "Honeymooner"--don't ask) if they would be interested in contributing a track to a Styper tribute. Steve arranged a version of "Calling On You" on his 4 track and then brought it to the band.
1998 Songs and Second Thoughts

Friction Bailey This 4-track demo was what started it for Friction Bailey. It was recorded in Apartment #5 just above Finkbiner park in Steve and Joy's first apartment. The entire demo was recorded using one SM-58 microphone.
1998 Hot Off The Tracks 97-98 Steve Guiles This was Steve's second jump into 4-track recording on his own. Some of the songs that ended up on "Tengo Yellow Pedal" started out here.
1997 The Early Years: Vol I Steve Guiles A compilation of most of the songs Steve had written on his 4 track from 91-97. This tape has some early Pushstart Wagon material.

The Vegas Nerve Steve joined the band back when it was called EEG (short for Electroencephologram) back in 92 or 93. Steve shared lead and rhythm guitars with Billy Coates and also sang a few BGVs. This was a tape only release.

Steve plays guitar and sings lead vocals on these tracks. This was the CD that attracted the attention of Gene Eugene at Brainstorm Artists International and got them a record deal. Pushstart had played a show with Plankeye and the lead singer, Scott, took a copy of our demo to Gene. This recording was Pushstarts first time in a "real" studio, Ocean Way.

Live @ the Roxy
EEG & Bakersfield Steve plays guitar and sings BGVs. This was our first exposure to the famous Roxy theatre in Hollywood. This was a tape that Steve found. We think it was made through the Roxy soundboard, but it's possible that it was made on an Radioshack Optimus cassette recorder. Only one copy exists that we know of.
