Pre-race BBQ - bring your own burgers. Baps and salad provided.

Picnic at Dundrum
The annual club picnic will take place on 12th July. Please remember that this event is governed by the tides in Dundrum Bay and therefore it is vital that we stick to the departure time. As usual 2 safety boats will accompany the dinghies. A limited number of places will be available to non-sailors in these boats. In addition, it is also possible to gain access to the picnic area on foot but only for those with good navigation skills and flares!.

Prize Giving Dinner
 
Date: Saturday 3rd October

Once again it is the time of the year when the silverware is distributed to the best of  the hardy bunch who survived Dundum Bay during our glorious Irish summer. Halloween Fancy Dress
In recent times this event has become one of the highlights of the year which just happens to coincide with Newcastle Halloween fireworks display. Even if the weather is bad, the club facilities provide a great viewing area of the display and with fancy dress and delicious food (bangers and mash), this provides a great nights entertainment for families.

Time:Countdown starts at 6.00pm
Cost: £5/person, £10/family
 
 
 
Christmas Draw and kids art day
This year the Christmas party/Quiz will be held on the first Saturday in December. During the afternoon, we hope to have a kids art day where the younger members will help create a nautical mural for display in the club - move information will be available closer to the date.
