Computer Lessons

On Monday and Thursday our friendly and competent volunteers provide Apple Macintosh and Windows computer lessons for students on a one-on-one basis. Contact the centre on 9953 6447 and speak to Pauline to put your name down for your own tutor, or just come in on Monday or Thursday. Whatever your level of competency, we can help.

Six 1 hr lessons for only $50 -this value is normally not refundable.

$15 for one off 1 hour lessons.

Bus Trips

Bus Trips are monthly in the last week of each month, starting at the centre at 9.00am to around 4.30pm. The cost varies from $27 to $50 depending on where we go. Morning tea is provided, lunch at own expense.

Payment at time of booking is essential. Posters advertising the trips are advertised at the centre, see Phyllis Stodick or call (02) 9953 6447. If we have to book and pay for a venue we will not be able to refund that cost in the event of cancellations.

Internet Access

Check your emails, browse the internet or use any of our computers in our friendly internet cafe while enjoying a cup of coffee. Only $2 per hour or $1 for half an our.

All things digital

Come to the centre and we can help you to enhance old or new photos.
We can also help you make super presents with digital photo frames or collect your favourite photos onto Memory Stick.
Do you have favourite music on old vinyl records/cassette tapes? We can help you put it on CDs: from 78s to CD, from 45s to CD or from cassettes to CD. Bring them in and we work the magic!

Dancing lessons

New Vogue dancing: Fridays 11.00am to 3.00 pm, 1st Floor

Line dancing: Mondays 6.30pm - 8pm and Thursdays 9.30am - 11am

Monday we teach computer card making - $3.50 per card, and we also teach the art of calligraphy, crochet and knitting.

Tuesday gentle exercises 9.15 am $50 for 10 lessons.

Wednesday is for Tai Chi in the hall upstairs followed by traditional Chinese dance.

Thursday if you have any questions about your computer call into the Centre between 1.00 and 1.45 pm and we will help you.

Friday - there are a variety of activities being held on different Fridays, digital camera, family tree research. Movies: first Friday, Poker: second Friday.

Printing and copying is available at a small charge.

A "Justice of the Peace" is available on Monday.
