CH Kinwashkly Ted's Lucky Heart

 March/24     No litters planned

We live just outside of Regina, Saskatchewan and have owned Brittany Spaniels since 2004 and have been raising pups since 2009.  We typically have one or two litters of pups each year.  They are raised in our home so the mom is close to us like she is used to and gives us the opportunity to watch the pups closely.  The pups go to their new homes at 8 weeks and will have had their 8 week vet checkup with first shots/deworming, have been microchipped and will be registered with the Canadian Kennel Club.  Our pups come with a 30 month guarantee for hips and 12 month guarantee for genetic defects. They are sold on a CKC non-breeding contract which can be reversed for a small fee, payable to the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC), once the dog has received an Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) certification.  Our pups must be picked up in person.  We do not fly our pups to their new homes unaccompanied.   We have decided to no longer dock tails and remove dew claws, as of January 1, 2022.   That is still the conformation standard under the CKC for this breed. Going forward because of that, pups from here would not be eligible to compete for their conformation championship.  Other competitions and activities are not affected.  If that is important to you, please contact another breeder.

Our original breeding dogs included CH Prairiestorm Baxter, CH Kinwashkly Ted's Lucky Heart, Neuman's Mad Max Misty and AM/CAN CH Copley's Deep In The Briar Patch.

CH Prairiestorm Baxter obtained his championship title in 2009.   He is now retired and still doing well.  He turned 13 on Feb. 12, 2020.  He sired many litters over the years.   We kept Meadow from one of his litters and she is an wonderful girl.   He passed away in September 2020 at age 13.5.

CH Kinwashkly Ted's Lucky Heart obtained her championship title in 2010.  She is retired and doing well.  She will be 15 years old on March 29th, 2024 .  She raised many pups for us.  Hunted well.   An amazing mother.   We had kept her daughters,  Aspen, Ivy and Gemma.   Aspen and Ivy are retired and still doing well.   Her daughter, Gemma, continues her legacy.

Neuman's Mad Max Misty, obtained 5 points towards her championship title in her first show, is sitting on 7 points and was ranked #6 Brittany Puppy in Canada for 2010.  We weren't able to finish her points, at that time, unfortunately.   She had a great nose for birds and loved the hunt. She raised strong pups for us.  Misty passed away in September, 2020 at age 11.5.   Franklyn, her daughter, continued her line.   Franklyn is now retired, as well, but we kept her one of her sons, Neuman's Smoke Bentley.  He is 2.5 year old and will carry on Misty and Frankie's bloodline, as a breeding male in the future.

CH Copley's Deep In The Briar Patch obtained his Canadian Championship title in 2009 and his American Championship title in 2010.  He has sired many litters for us and is the dad of Aspen, Gemma and Franklyn.   He had come out of retirement for our 2020 Meadow litter since Meadow is Baxter's daughter.  Briar passed away August, 2022 at the age of 14.

Our current breeding Brittanys include CH Kinwashkly Dakota Smoke FDJ,   Neuman's Ivy Meadow,  and  Neuman's Lucky Heart Gemma.
