March 24th
5:00 - 6;00 p.m.
Science Fair Project Information Meeting
Please join the 5th grade team in the library to learn more about the science fair project. Teachers will go through the various parts of the project and explain what needs to be done at home. They will outline how parents can support this project. For parents with a 1st grader, the timing of this event has been matched to the 1st grade Reading Celebration. You will be able to get to both events, especially since the Reading Celebration includes a pot luck dinner.
See you on the 24th. |

To give more parents time to sign up, I've moved the NECAP workshop to March 15th. It's at 5:00 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. in hopes that one of the times works for you. Please let me know if you're coming, so I can prepare individual test information for you.

Parents and students are invited to a special NECAP Night. Carol Curtis will be reviewing the NECAP test items and talking about how to improve student academic levels. Two sessions will be held - 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Please call or email to let us know if you'll be attending. We need to prepare individual packets with student information -- which questions your student got right/wrong and how s/he answered. |

Most of the NES students will be going over to the auditorium on December 2nd at 12:45 p.m. to watch the middle school production of Alice in Wonderland. We are excited to have been invited to see this play. Children will surely have a lot to tell you that afternoon. |
