Live music Malaga

http://www.theancientbritains.es/ This is a new website by a group of musicians based in the North of Malaga, close to Antequera and Archidona in the town of Villanueva del Trabuco.

The Ancient Britons or "The Brits" as they are known are a mixture of old, very old and middle aged expats who formed a band playing country, soul, rock, blues and any other music that comes to mind.

Formed in 2008 the lads play in and about the Malaga area for charity gigs, birthdays weddings and any other functions. Their new Album "253 years on" has just been released and can be bought by emailing robbie@theancientbritains.es

The new album has such great songs as "wonderful tonight" "Missus Brown you've got a lovely daughter" "Urban Spaceman" "Proud Mary" "Hi ho silver lining" and many other favourites form the 60's, 70's 80's and 90's.
Please visit their website at http://www.theancientbritains.es/ and keep in touch with what's happening in the Malaga music scene. This is a new site and is not yet finished, however, links to the site are welcome and there is always a link back.

Next gig will be at the Old Fergosi place for a live music and art festival in the town of Villanueva del Trabuco.

If you have a worthy cause that needs a bit of help and is not too far out for the Brits, then email their manager robbie@theancientbritains.es and let him know what the event is, where it is and make sure to give good notice and they will get back to you. The band do not charge for playing gigs for worthy causes but hold their own raffle to cover their costs.
